Intuition is a powerful thing.
Time and time again, I have been taught just how invaluable it is, and time and time again I choose to ignore it. The trouble is, that sometimes my intuition reeks of Holden Caulfield-style judgement so thick, it is difficult to trust.
That knee-jerk reaction that seems to come from nowhere, but brings to mind Malcolm Gladwell's, Blink, is a force that constantly torments me.
Of course trusting your intuition is a good thing, our sophisticated sense of the world around us is much older and significantly wiser than the unruly, prefrontal decisions to overrule that gut reaction.
Life is a balance between trusting your instincts and pushing your limits; sometimes it can be fun to fall off the edge.
